BUA Cement Price Update: N3,500 Starting October 2nd

The management of BUA Cement has announced that starting from today, October 2, 2023, the ex-factory price of its cement will be reduced to 3,500 Naira per bag. This price reduction is aimed at providing Nigerians with the benefits of lower prices even before the completion of its manufacturing plants.

In a statement released by BUA Group, signed by Tim Sogbeinde, Head of Creatives & Visual Identity Management, it was further revealed that all pending undelivered orders, which were previously paid for at the old prices, will be adjusted to the new price of N3,500 per bag starting from October 2, 2023.

The statement emphasized BUA Cement’s commitment to reducing prices and its intent to boost development in the building materials and infrastructure sectors. It stated that the decision to expedite the price reduction was based on the company’s efficiency review and a dedication to providing cost savings to its customers.

Furthermore, the statement outlined BUA Cement’s plans for the future, indicating that once the ongoing construction of its new plants is completed, increasing production volumes to 17 million metric tonnes per annum, they intend to further review prices by the first quarter of 2024. BUA Cement urged its licensed dealers to ensure that end-users benefit from these reduced ex-factory prices, with a promise to actively monitor field sales to ensure compliance.
