Nigerian Military Rescues 31 Abducted Villagers from Bandits in Sokoto: Heroic Operation Unveils Triumph over Kidnapping Menace

In a noteworthy operation, Nigerian troops successfully rescued 31 villagers who had been kidnapped by bandits in Sokoto. Led by Major General Godwin Mutkut, the Joint Task Force North West Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD) conducted a strategic clearance mission on November 21st in Tangaza Local Government Area.

The operation resulted in the liberation of 30 kidnapped individuals from Alya Fulani village and Buani forest. Through a display of superior firepower, the troops compelled the bandits to abandon their captives and retreat from their camps, ensuring the safety of the rescued individuals.

Continuing their determined efforts, the troops proceeded to Goboro village, where they successfully rescued an additional female kidnapping victim. The bandits, overwhelmed by the troops’ firepower, hastily dispersed in disarray. This successful rescue mission by the Nigerian troops is a significant step towards enhancing security and protecting the well-being of the kidnapped villagers in Sokoto.
